Scribner Plastics--the family-owned and operated rotational molding company specializing in reusable shipping containers, barrier systems, and engine and transmission shipping containers--has announced its relocation from Rancho Cordova, California, to Victoria, Texas.

The long-planned relocation is intended to be more centrally located to their customer base, as well as closer to the Houston shipping port for their export customers, according to a company release.

Scribner Plastics acquired a five-acre industrial parcel to build a duplicate factory with room for future expansion. A new Ferry Industries rotational machine has been installed, with additional machinery being shipped from California to Texas.

Current employees were offered relocation incentives, according to Scribner Plastics.
